DIPP vide Notification No. G.S.R. …… (E) on Monday, 6th March, 2017 in suppression of the Trade Marks Rules, 2002 has notified Trade Marks Rules, 2017 which shall come into force from the date of publication in Official Gazette.
Vide said Notification previous trademark rules has been replaced by the said Rules making alterations in Forms to be filed, Fee Structure, and various of rules & procedures relating to Trademarks. Also, it is to be noted that Company Secretary in Practice has now become qualified to be registered as Trademark agent.
