MCA vide Circular No.13/2016 dt. Monday, 5th December, 2016, has clarified that as per IEPF (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016, it is mandatory for companies depositing amount to IEPF to generate challan online and file Form IEPF-1 mentioning SRN No. of Challan in online mode only.
All companies transferring amount to IEPF are therefore requested to follow the above procedure as challans which are not generated on MCA21 Portal will not be accepted after 15.12.2016.
