MCA Notification No- G.S.R__(E) on Thursday, 21^st February, 2019 has issued Companies (Incorporation) Amendment Rules, 2019 to amend the Companies (lncorporation) Rules, 2014, wherein;

1. After Rule 25, Rule 25A shall be inserted which pertains to Active Company Tagging Identities and Verification (ACTIVE), pursuant to which Every company incorporated on or before 31^st December, 2017 shall file the particulars of the company and its registered office, in e-Form ACTIVE (Active Company Tagging Identities and Verification) on or before 25^th April, 2019.
2. Also, the companies who will not be permitted to file the said form and the companies who shall not be required to file the said form has been cleary specified in the said rules. Further, the consequences of non filing of the said form and penalty for delay in filing the said form is specified in this rule.
3. In the said Rules, after Form INC-22, the e-form ACTIVE (INC-22A) shall be inserted.
4. This rule shall come into force with effect from 25^th February, 2019.
