MCA has extended the time for holding AGM for those Companies whose financial year ended on 31st December, 2019 (other than first financial year) by 3 months i.e. the Companies are allowed to hold their AGM within a period of nine months instead of six from the closure of the financial year. Hence, the revised due date is September 30, 2020, instead of June 30, 2020 for such Companies.
