SEBI vide its notification on Monday, February 12, 2018 have issued SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 to further amend the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009.

Under the SEBI (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2009, in regulation 82 (Conditions for Qualified institution placement), clause (c) shall be omitted.

Clause (c) of Regulation 82 read as under:

It is in compliance with the requirement of minimum public shareholding specified in the Securities Contracts (Regulations) Rules, 1957.
