The 2 Secretarial Standards, SS1: Secretarial Standards on the Meetings of the Board & SS2: Secretarial Standards on General Meeting as were issued by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) which were notified in the Official Gazette of India on 23rd April, 2015 are to be effective from Today on-wards i.e 1st July, 2015.

The said standards are applicable to All the Companies except One Person Company (OPC) having only 1 Director.

The clarification circular of ICSI, said the the same are to apply to all the meeting for which notices are to be issued on or after 1st July, 2015
