BSE: MANDATORY FILING OF CORPORATE GOVERNANCE REPORT AND SHAREHOLDING PATTERN IN XBRL MODE

In continuation of  its earlier circular no. DCS/COMP/20/2015-16 dated 30 November, 2015, and Circular No. DCS/COMP/33/2015-16 dated 11 March, 2016 the Bombay Stock Exchange of India Limited (BSE) on Wednesday, 16th March, 2016, has came out with a Circular No. DCS/COMP/34/201516; BSE had provided the Listing Centre (http://listing.bseindia.com) as the “Electronic Platform” for filing all compliances and submissions to be made by the Listed Entities.

With a view to making the disclosure more accurate and efficient, the Exchange had introduced facility of XBRL based reporting for filing of following compliances under SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015:

1. Corporate Governance (Regulation 27)
2. Shareholding Pattern (Regulation 31)
3. Financial Results (Regulation 33)

BSE has stated that the E-filling on Listing Centre has been made mandatory effective from 28th March, 2016; in respect of Corporate Governance Report (Regulation 27) and Shareholding Pattern (Regulation 31), Any filing by corporate on the above matter which are not in accordance with the above circular, will be treated as non-compliance.
