MCA vide Circular No.15/2016 on Wednesday, 7^th December, 2016, stated that considering various representations for simplification of transfer process of shares under IEPF (Accounting, Audit, Transfer and Refund) Rules, 2016 and request to extend the due date prescribed for transferring the shares to IEPF Authority, the matters of simplification of transfer of shares & extension of due date is under consideration, and rules are likely to be revised which shall be notified in due course.
