MCA vide Notice on Saturday, 17th June, 2017, stated that Application for Surrender of DIN is now to be made through e-form DIR-5 w.e.f. 21st June, 2017 on MCA21 portal.
It is advised to file this e-form instead of it being filed as an attachment to form RD-1.
