MCA vide Notification No. G.S.R. 791(E) on Friday, 12th August, 2016, has notified the Companies (Share Capital and Debentures) Fourth Amendment Rules, 2016 inserting new sub-rule (11) in principal rule 18, which states that nothing contained in this rule shall apply to rupee denominated bonds issued exclusively to overseas investors and the same shall came into effect from the date of its publication in Official Gazette.
