MCA vide its notification No. S.O. 2872(E) dated August 31, 2017 stated that  in exercise of the Powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 435 of the Companies Act, 2013 on the Central Government, with the concurrence of the Chief Justice of the High Court of Judicature at Patna; has designated the Court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Patna, as Special Court, for the purposes of providing speedy trial of offences punishable with imprisonment of two years or more under the said sub-section. Jurisdiction of the said Special Court is State of Bihar.
