Vide notification no. S.O. 3085(E) dt. 20.09.2017; Central Government has made following changes in the Constitution of National Advisory Committee on Accounting Standards which was constituted vide notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, number S.O. 3118(E), dated the 3rd October, 2016:
- Shri Sanjay Gupta, President of Institute of Cost Accountants of India has replaced Shri Manas Kumar Thakur as Nominee of Institute of Cost Accountants of India in the said Committee.
- Further, the tenure of the Chairperson and the Members of said Committee shall be two years; earlier which was one year.
