MCA vide Notification No. G.S.R. 1159(E) on Tuesday, 20th December, 2016 has notified National Company Law Tribunal (Amendment) Rules, 2016 which shall come into force on the date of publication in Official Gazette. The Notification amended various Rules Such as Rule 2, 25, 27, 38 & 112, Schedule of Fees, Form NCLT-3 and Annexure-B-List of documents to be attached. Also, Rule 69(3) & 70(6) has been omitted.
Further, new rules have been inserted vide this notification, namely;
- Rule 23A: Presentation of Joint
- Rule 38A: Multiple Remedies
- Rule 68A: Application to cancel variation of rights under Section 48(2)
- Rule 76A: Application under Section 130
- Rule 83A: Application under Section 244(1)
