RBI vide notification no. FEMA 20(R)/ 2017-RB on Tuesday, 07^th November, 2017 have in supersession of Notification No. FEMA 20/2000-RB and Notification No. FEMA 24/2000-RB both dated May 3, 2000, have made the Foreign Exchange Management (Transfer or Issue of Security by a Person Resident outside India) Regulations, 2017 which shall come into force from the date of publication in the official gazette. The same were published in official gazette G.S.R No. 1374(E) dated 07^th November, 2017.
