MCA vide Notification No. G.S.R. 08(E) & G.S.R. 9(E) on Wednesday, 4th January, 2017, notifies certain exemptions from the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 to the Specified IFSC unlisted public company & private company respectively, i.e. a company which is licensed to operate by the RBI or SEBI or IRDA from the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC) located in an approved multi services Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
